Contact

A question about one of the six tours, a correction to something on this site, or an operator enquiry: write to [email protected] and I will reply, usually within a few days. I read everything, including the emails from people certain they were promised a view.

Before you write

I am one person with a website, not a booking platform, so there are three things I genuinely cannot do. I cannot change, refund or cancel a booking — that is GetYourGuide, through the confirmation email they sent you. I cannot tell you whether the mountain will be visible on your date — nobody can, which is the point of the weather and clouds page. And I cannot open the Subaru Line when weather has closed it, or exempt anyone from the seasonal private-vehicle ban — the road’s rules are at driving the Subaru Line.

What I am useful for

Which tour fits your party, whether you should book one at all, and the questions the brochures answer vaguely — what to wear at 2,305 m, how the buses work, what a socked-in day is actually like. Most of it is already written: start with all tours and the reviews, or go straight to how to get there if the question is transport. Corrections are the emails I like best — roads and fees move, and I would rather hear about a stale detail from you than leave it standing.
